ABOUT...

Picture
Well, I was going to leave this blank for a while because I was more concerned about getting content up than talking about me and it's now 1:53 AM and I know I'm going to end up rewriting this at some point...  But anyway, I was previously and actually am currently doing some freelance writing for another online magazine Hollywood Today and I grew up with my father being an editor at Variety and The Hollywood Reporter and I used to do some marketing when I worked in the film business and I just suddenly thought, probably while brushing my teeth (I have a lot of big ideas while brushing my teeth,) why don't I start my own online magazine? I live and breathe and create pop culture and live in the heart of the "TMZ" area in L.A. And, oh yeah, I'm also a digital artist specializing in pop culture pin-ups and I'm creating a comic book/transmedia project called Quantum Party Girls, so why not create another crazy time consuming thing that I can spend all day promoting on Facebook and Twitter....  So here it is, ta-dah, Pop Culture Today. My own magazine. I've always had a problem with psycho Swimming-With-Sharks bosses, so now I have three different bossless projects from which I hope to make a living... :)

BTW, I think I just added all sorts of metadata in my lame but SEO-friendly "Welcome" at the beginning. Following instructions on Google's webmaster tools page, actually pasting in some sort of html5 I think. I'm soooo turning into a geek!
