Hollywood, CA (Pop CultureToday) 6/5/2013 – As gaming insiders get an exclusive first hand view of the newest and coolest in gaming, so will the the general public, as Spike TV broadcasts live multi-platform coverage of all the action taking place at this year’s expo.
In a world where media is expanding like a spider web, the concept of the buzz-friendly word, “Transmedia,” has been born, and gaming has become an ever important integral ancillary asset to film, TV, comics, and pretty much everything pop culture. As usual, the day before the opening, big news is expected from some of the world of gaming biggies: Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft and Sony, in hopes of thrilling game geeks and fanatics with potentially life-changing game technology… Gaming is quickly becoming more important to its fans than the movie or TV show they may be based on. Or real life.
“E3 All Access Live” will kick-off its multi-platform coverage on Spike TV, in HD, from Los Angeles one day before the event is open to the public on Monday, June 10 (Noon-5:30pm ET/ 9:00am-2:30pm PT) and continue at 5:30-11:00pm ET / 2:30-8:00pm PT. Spike.com will stream five more live hours on Tuesday, June 11 (Noon-5:00pm ET/ 9:00am-2:00pm PT). The live special will also be supported through additional digital pre and post shows as well as through online simulcasts.
